After plenty of auditions, members from our wonderful team up and down the country were chosen to star in our latest advert. We caught up with them on set to find out how they found their time singing and dancing in the spotlight.

From delivery drivers to chefs, our latest advert stars a whole host of our brilliant team members showcasing our good old-fashioned service. After singing and dancing their way through many takes, here's what they had to say on the whole experience.

Liam, Chef

"I have been part of the Wiltshire Farm Foods team for almost 20 years now!"

What is your role in the advert?

"I'm singing the opening shot of the advert."

How many takes did it take for you to get the shot?

"Ooh I think we did 20 plus but a lot of it wasn’t our fault though… it was the camera! *laughing*"

What was your favourite moment from filming?

"Blimey… I think it is the joy. There were a lot of us laughing around and being funny which made us all feel a lot more relaxed."

What is something that always brings you sunshine?

"When Liverpool win the league."

Jo, Customer Service Advisor from Peterborough

"I have been working in Peterborough for 18 months now"

Do you have any memorable stories from your time working with Wiltshire Farm Foods?

"I recently got to meet a wonderful elderly customer of ours in person for the first time. He was a joy to chat to – it’s always nice to put faces to names when we speak to them on the phone, week in week out."

How many takes did it take for you to get the shot?

"I think around 8 but there were quite a lot of rehearsals before that!"

What was your favourite moment from filming?

"Just enjoying singing such a happy song! I love singing - everyone in the office will probably tell you that I have a song for every occasion, and I just start singing randomly!"

What is something that always brings you sunshine?

"My children, no matter how bad a day has been they will always bring a smile to my face."

Jacob, Customer Service Advisor from Trowbridge

"I have been working here for around 18 months now."

What is your role in the advert?

"I give a cup of tea to Jo while she sings."

How many takes did it take for you to get the shot?

"I nailed my bit - it was Jo that kept messing up! *laughing* I am only joking, maybe 10 or 11 takes."

What was your favourite moment from filming?

"I just found it really interesting how many people are involved in making one scene for an advert, it's incredible."

Do you have any funny stories from filming to share?

"Yes, I have borrowed a pair of checked trousers which I would never usually wear but apparently they really suit me!"

What is something that always brings you sunshine?

"Laughter and love."

Brian, Driver from Peterborough

"I've been working as a delivery driver for 3 years."

Do you have any memorable stories from your time working with Wiltshire Farm Foods?

"One that always sticks in my mind is a particular customer who had written a life story as a book. lt ended up that all of the pages got mixed up and it needed to be corrected so I wanted to help him. I took the book away, I retyped it all for him and got it together in the correct order again. He was delighted and he now has it to keep forever."

What was your favourite part of filming?

"What’s really nice is that it's not just delivery drivers, it's everybody involved in the advert. I think my favourite part has to be when all three of us, myself, Brett and Paul, were doing it together. When the director said "Brian you're in time and in step, your movements are great and your voice is ok" - that felt good!"

What is something that always brings you sunshine?

"I think for me it's having a bit of banter with the customers, getting them smiling and providing them with that service that they are so grateful for."

Bernie, Driver and Customer Service Advisor from Tunbridge Wells

"I have been working with Wiltshire Farm Foods for 9 years."

What is your role in the advert?

"I do some tap dancing down the drive as I'm delivering. I learnt to tap dance when I was only 4 as I went to a dance school and I have just always done it ever since. I still do it now but only at home!"

How many takes did it take for you to get the shot?

"It seemed like quite a lot - I have no idea actually. At one point my shoe caught in a paving slab and I tripped!"

What was the most difficult part of filming?

"I had to stay between two lines on the path as I danced but keep looking up the whole time. That was tricky - and it was very strange having everyone looking at me and all the lights on me."

What is something that always brings you sunshine?

"My two little grandsons. They are 5 and 1 and they make my heart light up with sunshine every time I see them."

Jo, Customer Service Advisor from Cricklade

"I've been working here for 8 years."

What is your role in the advert?

"I had to hand the clipboard to Lou as she danced past and wiggled my hips a bit!"

What was your favourite moment from filming?

"Probably just being myself, enjoying the whole experience and meeting everybody whilst filming."

Do you have any funny stories from filming?

"Probably when Lou lost her microphone down her top during a shot and watching her try to fish it back out again!"

What is something that always brings you sunshine?

"My family - they are my world and I love them to bits."

Lou, Retail Operations Manager from Trowbridge

"I've been working here in Trowbridge for 6 years now."

Do you have any memorable stories from your time working with Wiltshire Farm Foods?

"We had a customer called Sylvia who said that she really wanted to meet Melanie, our office manager at Trowbridge, as she had spoken to her on the phone for 5 years or more. So, we invited her to come into the office one day and have tea and cake with Mel."

What is your role in the advert?

"I sing a line of the song, sign a clipboard and walk through the office strutting my stuff."

What was your favourite part of filming?

"Getting to have my hair and makeup done - what a treat! My team wouldn't recognise me."

What was the most difficult part of filming?

"The timing! Thinking about stage direction and singing all at the same time whilst making sure I wasn’t taking too big of a stride or too little."

What is something that always brings you sunshine?

"My son. He might annoy me most of the time but he does always make me smile."

Brett, Driver from Loughborough

"I've been a driver for over 3 years now - and this is my third advert!"

Do you have any funny stories from your time working with Wiltshire Farm Foods?

"A couple of weeks ago I had to go false teeth searching. A customer of mine I ws delivering to didn’t want to speak to me because she was very conscious that she had lost her false teeth. I put all of the food away in the freezer and I then helped her look around the house for them. I ended up finding them behind the kettle in the kitchen - she was very pleased."

What was your favourite part of filming?

"It's just been really good. I have not had a grin off of my face all day. It helps that Brian, Paul and myself all know each other and we do bounce off of each other. I think my favourite part was when all three of us were doing a shot together - it was a lot of fun."

What is something that always brings you sunshine?

"My customers."

Jethro, Chef

"I've been a Development Chef here for 7 months now."

What is your role in the advert?

"In the advert I am in the opening scene in the kitchen, making some eggs."

What was your favourite part of filming?

"It was actually all quite fun! We were told to have a bit of a laugh during filming so we had a lot of banter on the set. It was a fun and easy going process."

What was the most difficult part of filming?

"Probably just unnaturally being around food in front of the cameras and cooking the same thing over and over again - it just doesn’t come naturally."

What is one thing that always brings you sunshine?

"My children and cooking."

Paul, Driver from Loughborough

"I've been working at Loughborough for 3 years."

Do you have any funny stories from your time working with Wiltshire Farm Foods?

"When we were doing the auditions for this I got my customers to ask me the questions I had been given. I was looking at myself on the phone and getting them to ask the question, I'd turn around and see them chuckling away and laughing. I don’t know how many times I ended up doing the questions with all different customers!"

What was your favourite part of filming?

"When me, Brian and Brett were all filming the shot together, trying to get the spacing and the timing right. I would bump into Brett and then Brian would then bump into me. I just kept thinking, when do I start singing? When do I stop singing? I got completely confused."

What is something that always brings you sunshine?

"Seeing my customers every week. You go in the house and they are waiting to see you with a smile on their face. Also, when they say that they don’t know what they would do without you - that just brings it home for me. It is more than just a delivery service, you really are a friend to them."

Dawn, Customer Service Advisor from Loughborough

"I've been with Wiltshire Farm Foods for around 3 years now."

Do you have any funny stories from your time working with Wiltshire Farm Foods?

"Every single day moments come that make us smile. Especially when you pick up the phone and say "Hello Mr Brown" and it turns out that it's Mrs Brown - that happens all the time and makes us giggle."

What is your role in the advert?

"I am in the shot in the offices and I do a leg kick!"

What was the most difficult part of filming?

"There wasn’t a difficult part for me. Maybe waiting beforehand when we were all ready to go, but on set it was just all a joy to be a part of."

What is something that always brings you sunshine?

"My grand children always bring me sunshine."

Matt, Chef

"I have only recently started working with Wiltshire Farm Foods as a pastry Chef, perhaps for around 5 months now."

What is your role in the advert?

"In the advert I am in the opening scene doing a lot of whisking."

How many takes did it take for you to get the shot?

"Well I did it perfect first time but for the others it took a little bit longer! *laughing*"

What was your favourite part of filming?

"Having a laugh with Liam and Jethro as we were filming the shot."

What is something that always brings you sunshine?

"My 2-year-old son brings me sunshine every single day."
